Crumbly central!
Highcliffe is the retirement capital of the world - or at least that's how it feels when you're in your 30s and everyone else there is at least twice your age!The Globe Inn is a huge hit with the blue rinse brigade, especially when the early bird menu is in force, but outside these times it's definitely worth a visit. Recently refurbished, it now boasts a much more classy and sophisticated atmosphere, although sadly the menu doesn't quite match. However, the food is good (f a bit boring) and offers good value for money, so if you're looking for an alternative to staying in and cooking dinner, you could do a lot worse.
