Who we are

The Graduate Opportunities Wales (GO Wales) project began in 2003 as a service dedicated to helping graduates make the best start to their careers in Wales.

It is Wales' flagship employability programme with previous clients numbering in the thousands. Acknowledging graduates as a catalyst for growth within the Welsh economy, GO Wales offers services to help graduates and Welsh businesses get the most out of working together.

What we do

Managed by HEFCW and delivered by all the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Wales, GO Wales builds relationships with local employers, students and graduates to offer high quality work placements, jobs, work experience and training academies.

Based mainly in University Careers Services, GO Wales helps employers gain access to higher skills and innovative thinking. It offers students and graduates vital experience and it helps keep skilled graduates within the Welsh economy.

The project has shown that it is good for business, good for graduates and good for the Welsh economy.

Who can take part?

There are some restrictions over who can access our services. As a general rule, we are able to work with graduates with an address in Wales and businesses in Wales.
