This friendly, family-run 16th-century inn is situated between Rugby and Coventry, convenient for access to the M6. Bedrooms, some of which are within a smart extension, are equipped with both practical and homely items; one features a stunning Chinese bed. The beamed bar and restaurant retain many original features and a warm welcome is assured.

wouldnt go again, food is ordinary but better than the normal pub fare, on first glance it's quaint but on closer inspection a little worse for wear- the bad quality of the tables and chairs in the pub/rest, and the toilets are horrific! they probably havent been renovated since the 80's and look it in terms of decor and cleanliness. Best in the area?! shows you the lack of good restaurants in rugby!

Great hotel, comfortable and welcoming. Superb food and service. Great for a special meal and for functions. Fine resturaunt and traditional pub at front with JACS resturaunt and function room at the back. Fantastic accommodation, set in lovely village location, between Coventry and Rugby. You certainly get the personal touch here. AA stared hotel with award winning restaurant.First went as a customer a couple of years ago, valentines night, stayed overnight in a wonderful chinese themed room, four poster bed etc. Since done New years eve etc, regular diner there. Now work there regularly as the Resident DJ.I have attended many functions there in that capacity and wow, the food and service is one of the best in the region.I have worked at almost all the quality hotels in Warwickshire and surrounding areas and seen the functions at first hand, this is where I would want my kids to have thier wedding reception.
