Like any wetherspoons pub this is usually pretty busy. Weekends especially so. The meals are pretty standard but they are now a lot more expensive than they used to be and, because they are not quite filling enough, are an unfair price. The drinks are dirt cheap, hence always being busy, but the beer is close to going off and so never has the taste you'd find elsewhere. There is no music, which is a let down and the television screens play looped news that is on silent. However, it's located in the heart of town which makes it easy to access. There is a tiny part in which you can sit outside but it is so small it is hardly worth it.
