Established in 1989, Gradeline has been providing an unrivalled service to the Garment Industry. It has prided itself as one of the leading grading bureaus in the country for over 20 years.

Our Services

We grade for most of the High street, with a client list that includes such companies as Next, River Island, Arcadia, Awear, BHS, Primark,etc.. to name but a few, plus a whole range of British Designers and famous Labels. However, we also cater for new businesses and Designers who may have just started up or working on their first collections

Grading Services

At Gradeline we provide a wide variety of services including: We scan your master patterns for greater accuracy. Patterns graded to your own specification. Free consultation on grading methods. Size chart creation. Children's grading and non-standard grading. Multiple grading checks both on and off the computer before Dispatching your graded sets. Couture grading (but still on the computer) for more complicated styles, ie. draped and intricate designs.

Alteration Services

If you need your patterns altered, such as having the length of a piece extended, we are your first port of call. We can perform alterations to match your own specifications, whatever your need.

Lay Plans

Effective lay-plans help save fabric and costs, as with effective lay-plans an efficiency of 85-95% (depending on the style).
Pre-production costings to help calculate the quantity of cloth needed.
We provide a quick turnaround for those urgent deadlines
Finished lay-plans can be emailed, faxed, or a hard copy printed out on A4 paper
