Great to Talk (www.greattotalk.co.uk) is an independent speech and language therapy service for children and young people from 1 to to 19 years of age. The service provides specialist support for delayed and disordered speech, difficulties with understanding and talking as well as phonological awareness difficulties and dyspraxic speech.

Treatment is available for the following areas:
• Delayed speech sounds
• Disordered speech sounds
• Verbal Dyspraxia
• Language Delay (late first words, late to join words together, delayed understanding or delayed use of grammar)
• Language disorder / Specific Language Impairment (affecting understanding and/or use of language)
Age range covered - 2 to 19 years.
All levels of difficulty catered for, from mild to very severe

About Beverley Filer
Great to Talk is an private Speech and Language Therapy Service run by Beverley Filer, Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, BSc, Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), Member of Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Private Practice (ASLTIP), Health and Care Profession Council registered (HCPC).
I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1985 with a degree in Speech Pathology and Therapy and worked in the NHS as a paediatric speech and language therapist, specialising is specific speech and language disorder, for more than 26 years, until leaving to work full time in independent practice.
As a highly specialist speech and language therapist in the NHS, I developed in depth experience working with children with speech and language difficulties, ranging from mild problems to severe speech and language disorder in a wide range of settings, based both educational and health service sectors.
I have worked and continue to work closely with both families and educational and health professionals involved with all the children I treat, to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.
