The Grosvenor Lodge Guest House in Christchurch is a warm and welcoming place where you can happily chill out any time of year. Grosvenor Lodge owner Yas and her team go to great lengths to maintain their unrivalled reputation for great hospitality.

Our delicious big breakfasts are served early or late to suit your schedule and can be served in your room if you prefer. Besides bed and breakfast we can also offer packed lunches crammed with goodies.

We are proud of our AA 4 Star Guest House rating and we are a favourite B&B with holiday makers and businessmen. Whether an overnight stay, a short break or a holiday we provide everything that you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We are close to the River Stour, the River Avon, Throop plus Christchurch Harbour and the open sea are nearby so we also have a faithful following of surfers and anglers. We have a safe place for wet watersports gear and sodden fishermen are also catered for.

We have recently upgraded all 8 of our bedrooms and our high standards ensure that all bedrooms are spotless. We offer a choice of double, twin bedded or family rooms. All have en-suite showers plus flat screen TV and free wireless broadband.

Local Information

Linked to its smuggling history and the magnificent eleventh century Priory Church Christchurch is renowned for its rivers and harbour. With many historic locations open to the public including the ruins of Christchurch Castle, the Red House Museum and Highcliffe Castle it is a beautiful and tranquil place to visit. The River Avon and the famous Royalty Fishery in Christchurch offer excellent sea trout and salmon course fishing, as well as the famous Throop Fishery which is also just a short distance away. All year round beach casting is excellent at Mudeford and Hengistbury Head whilst during Spring and Summer sea angling for bass and grey mullet is good in the lower reaches of Christchurch Harbour. Christchurch is bursting with places to eat and drink - from classic English to Fisherman's pubs, wine bars to nightclubs. Whether you stay for a romantic weekend or family holiday in the Summer you are sure to find something for everyone.
