"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. Guardian Hands Care have provided the live-in carer for my mother Jose for the last 3 and a half weeks in Basingstoke. This document is by way of acknowledgement for what Guardian Hands Care have been doing for our mother during that time. To sum up in a sentence, it would be accurate to say that Guardian Hands Care has taken full responsibility for our mother's care. To expand with a little more detail: Our mother is 83, she has an element of dementia though she holds up well provided there is a lot of constant support around her. Sadly she has osteoporosis, now with a very bent back, along with osteo arthritis in her knees though this was recently treated with steroid injections which have helped. Our mother is inclined to want to use the toilet on an hourly or so basis, and has to be accompanied at all time when walking to the toilet or wherever, as she is not now very confident on her feet. She is generally not a good sleeper, often having very restless nights and wanting to get up to go to the toilet a multiple, variable number of times a night. Therefore Guardian Hands Care has been doing the waking nights each night, along with getting mum ready to bed in the evening, and getting her up in the morning and washed, dressed and given breakfast ready to be taken out, as our mother is taken somewhere else, family etc in the daytimes. Guardian Hands Care takes care of all of mum's laundry, cleans the kitchen and bathroom, gives mum her medicines, keeps daily records of what is happening with mum's care, and originates where things are needed eg a chiropodist, doctor because of breathlessness, and has put in a request for a hospital bed for mum in the house. Guardian Hands Care are a very good communicators and are very good at what they do. You would be hard pressed to get better carers. We appreciate all she has done the last few weeks, and we will be sorry to lose her. This is true."

Rosa has been working for my mother/mother in law for the past year and has made such a difference to her and our lives.
