Guitar Lessons

I am an experienced guitar, bass guitar and music teacher offering lessons that are fun, and guaranteed to get you playing the music that you like. I am a performing musician and have been teaching both at a FE College and privately for many years. I have teaching qualifications, am CRB checked and am a member of the Institute for Learning.

I have a background of working with and teaching people with learning difficulties and disabilities. My experience has been gained through my many years of working in learning support and teaching at FE Colleges, together with teaching privately.

Finding a good guitar teacher is sometimes difficult. So that you can see if I am the right one for you, I always offer the first lesson free. All lessons are tailored to your individual needs. I teach most styles including: Rock, Metal, Blues and Pop etc. from beginners to advanced, and any age.

A Qualified Teacher, Criminal Records Bureaux checked and a member of The Institute of Learning. Lessons take place in my home studio, where you have use of an instrument and amp if you cannot bring your own. RGT Electric Guitar and Bass Grades 1 to 7. Additional charges apply for exam entry etc. I also teach small groups,do guitar set-ups and minor repairs.
