About
James is a Bournemouth Based Guitar Teacher. He has been playing the guitar from the age of 14. Now at the age of 23 he already has 6 years of teaching experience. Initially self taught James went on to win a full Yamaha Scholarship at the Institute of Contemporary Music in 2007. James has recently Graduated with a 2.1 Bmus (Hons) Degree in music performance specialising in guitar. He has a current CRB check and has taken the NSPCC child awareness training as well as a level 6 Teaching Diploma with ‘Rock School’. His musical projects have included a residency at the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane along with various shows as a songwriter and backing musician within London’s Live Music scene. Currently Living in Bournemouth James spends 2 days a week teaching guitar for a school in London and is currently building up a student base in and around the Bournemouth area. Guitar lessons in Bournemouth
I was looking for guitar lessons in Bournemouth. I then found James, he helped me prepare for my year 10 GCSE performances on guitar. He helped me choose pieces based on my ability and interests and then worked to give me a thorough understanding of them. Having limited time for lessons James often stayed for longer to ensure I was on my way to giving the best performance for my exam. The week before my exam I got told I needed to learn some extra things about the pieces so James met up with me on Skype to answer any questions and bring me up to scratch.
