Historic House offering B+B

Gwern Borter Manor is an impressive Manor House dating back to 1850 standing in 10 acres of land in the beautifull Conwy Valley in the Snowdonia National Park. The house stands at the foot of the Talyfan mountain just 3 miles from the Conwy coast. Stylishly furnished in period style you will be more than pleased with one of our four rooms. We have a great breakfast menu catering for all tastes with food sourced locally. Beautifull grounds and gardens with horses grazing in the paddocks and our pond with ducks and gueese. We co not accept children in the house but they are more than welcome in our cottages. A perfect rural retreat.

In the court yards of Gwern Borter stand a selection of quaint, traditional stone built cottage terraces. Originally farm buildings, lovingly converted into eight cottages. All are fully equipped to the highest standard as befits the upper end of four star cottage accommodation. Short breaks are taken most of the year outside peak period and the main holidays Easter, Spring bank, Christmas and New year.

Furnishings are in traditional cottage style, fully fitted kichens with everything you could possibly need, all mod cons, fully fitted kitchens, Sky freeview TV/DVD and CD systems. Cottages come complete with their own patio area and rustic furniture, barbecues are also available free of charge.

Lots of facilities with laundry, gymnasium, sauna, rustic play area, games room, cycle hire and riding stables, or just take a seat round our duck pond and watch the world go by.
Very close to many visitor attractions, all the major Welsh and English castles, National Trust properties, boat rides, mines to go down or for the more lively lots fantasic walks and many adventurous activities
