Half Moon Inn
The Half Moon is a small, but popular bar located in the centre of Melton Mowbray, just off from the market place. It forms one of a string of pubs that are generally included on a pub crawl of the town centre, all being within a short walk of each other.The pub itself is small, but comfortable, although somewhat dark and the floor is unlevel in places (this is an old building) so watch where you're treading! You'll often find a few drunken locals in there, even during the daytime, so it's not to everyone's taste and is very much a "local's" pub. That said however, the staff are friendly and if you strike up a conversation with the locals, you'll find them generally friendly too(although perhaps a little worse for wear!)
