Took my car in for an MOT knowing it was in good shape being serviced two weeks earlier at dealer. They failed it on uneven brake application on both sides at the rear and said I needed new discs and pads.The discsand pads are about 18 months old and done a bit over 20k miles and I inspected them myself they are in good shape and barely worn.So I took my car to a council run test centre and it passed without a problem.I have used them before - they did wheel balance for me due to vibration through steering wheel. Their job made no difference and I started to look for other more serious problems but in the end took it somewhere else and had it re-done and it was perfect!You decide if you want to use them - I wont be using them again!

Avoid them
Took car in to have wheels balanced due to vibration through steering wheel. They did the job charged me the money and it made no difference. I took my car somewhere else and they balanced the wheels and hey presto cured! Took my car in for a MOT - they failed it on rear brake application uneven on both sides and said I needed new discs and pads (fairly new and fine) so I took it to council MOT centre and passed fine with now problem. Scam?
