Went there for MOT as it was half price - wish I hadn't. They failed it because they said both headlight clips were missing and the headlights were flapping around, quoted me £82 to fix it, as well as a further £140 for "recommended" work. Decided to take it home and check the headlights myself and found the clips were fine! Out of curiosity had a look on ebay to see how much the clips were - £1.50 for a pair. So they wanted £80 in labour for a job I could have done myself in 10 minutes. From now on I'll happily pay full price for an MOT from my local council test centre where they don't do repairs and can't recommend garages. Halfords in Stratford will just rip you off

Dont use them
This lot cant be any worse than the lying cowboys that work at 36 Foleshill Road Coventry. Car put in for service on Sat. They tried to get me to pay £700 for a service, brake pads and discs and a tyre. They got upset because I did not fall for replacing perfectly serviceable discs for £300. They changed the tyre and damaged a 17" alloy wheel because the retard operating the lever less tyre changer machine was too stupid to realise that a 17 inch wheel is 2 inches bigger than the 15 inch wheel that was on the machine before and bounced the anvil off the spokes whilst standing there dribbling like and idiot. Then they accused me of kerbing the wheel and trying to stich them up. What's more upsetting is the wheel has just came back from rennnovation and powder coat and was like new. Dont use them at all, they are offering 50% of MOTs to get you in and then screw you for work that is not necessary (e.g replace the brake pads and try and screw you into doing the discs as well by withholding an MOT until you pay) . I may be wrong about this lot, they may be really, really good. But from the experience of the branch in Coventry, they are lying over charging cowboys
