Satellite Navigation

I popped in to the store on the recomendation of a friend who had purchased a satellite navigation unit. On arrival to the store it was clean and tidy but not many staff were around. When greeted by the store manager we explained we had been looking at a satellite navigation system and that our neighbour had bought one from the store on the staffs recomedation. My neighbours son had bought one from a different retailer and had problems after a few months and apparantly the navigation company had poor aftersales service. My neighbour had told the staff in halfords Airdrie this and the member of staff demonstrated an alternative brand. The sales assistant had mentioned that the brand my neighbours son had the problems with was a well known brand due to the advertising it did on tv and radio, but this did not mean it was the best. I was asked 3 or 4 questions to ascertain which model was best suited and after a very easy to understand demonstartion I opted for a Garmin 250 widescreen unit and home charger. I felt welcome once speaking with the staff members and manager and we felt valued as a customer and the manager was quite cheery and funny during moments of conversation a kind of cheeky chappy. I am pleased with my purchase and would thoroughly reccomend this store to anyone seeking honest & helpfull advice if you live near halfords in Airdrie. No doubt we shall be back instore for xmas presents for the kids soon. Maybe we will have more laughs with the boss. Jim & Liz Buchannan, Motherwell
