Solid timber is used almost exclusively at Hannah Avery Furniture, even where most high end furniture on the market would have manufactured board such as the tops of tables and panels of doors. Great care is taken to hand pick the best boards of wood from local timber merchants for each piece of furniture. Much of the timber used is sourced from the British Isles and from managed forests. As well as using the right materials for each piece, the construction of the furniture is also particularly important to us. Traditional techniques and joints are used for their strength, creating a piece of furniture which will last for generations to come.
