Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology and Anma Amatsu in Cardiff
My interest in complementary therapies came from my mother; her arthritis meant she needed different forms of pain and stress relief other than medications that wouldn't always work for her. She has tried various complementary therapies which I remember from my teens. I decided then that I wanted to be one of the people she turned to for help.
I therefore applied for the BSc (Hons) Complementary Therapies at UWIC. I started the course at 19 and finished with a first degree when I was 22, in 2009. The course included diplomas in Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. I have continued with my therapies since then, as well as working as a nurse assistant from 2009-2010 in the Bristol Royal Infirmary on a medical ward. In 2016 I started a 4 year course in Amatsu, I recently completed my first year so I am now a qualified Anma Amatsu practitioner and will be completing my second year of the course in 2017.
I offer Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Massage and Anma Amatsu in Cardiff, and use my knowledge of anatomy and physiology from my degree, and my experiences of working with all types of physical and emotional ailments from my work in the hospital to provide a well-rounded treatment.

Hannah's massage and Amatsu treatments are fantastic and are only outshone by her wonderful personality. After trying Amatsu back in January I am a convert and thoroughly recommend it to everyone! I've suffered from lower back and hip issues for over a decade, tried all sorts of other therapists but only Hannah's Amatsu treatments have helped! Amatsu is popular worldwide and I'm very lucky to have found not only a qualified Practitioner in Cardiff, but one with a kind and joyful nature. Hannah is a fantastic Therapist and would recommend anyone to make an appointment if they want a good massage! I've been lucky enough to have attended regular appointments with her, and really noticed physical benefits from these visits. Every session starts with an attentive review of any changes since my last session to help focus the treatment to follow. Treatment itself always leaves me feeling revitalised, and she will always take the time after each visit to explain her observations of the session. Hannah's style is naturally friendly, communicative and always happy to share her wealth of therapy knowledge - she seems to keep this knowledge up-to-date as she has recently qualified in "Amatsu" (a 'body balancing' therapy originating from Japan) which she now offers.
