This 13th Century coaching inn is situated on the A1198, the Royston to Huntingdon road. We are approximately 5 miles north of Royston and 9 miles south-west of Cambridge with junction 12 of the M11 about 7 miles away. The stately home Wimpole Hall and its estate is within walking distance.

Being an old coaching inn all the en-suite bedrooms are of different size and décor.

Our oak-panelled restaurant is open for evening dining and is also available for private hire. The licensed bar is open all day for drinks, and food is served daily from 12.30 pm until 2.15pm, and in the evenings from 6.30 pm until 9.15 pm.
The function room is ideally suited for all events for up to 100 people. It is ideal setting for a private party, wedding reception, buffet or business meeting.

The restaurant and function room are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.
