Counselling and psychotherapy can help you identify where you are at right now and move to where you would like to be.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, alone, unable to cope or worried about a situation or feelings that you have? Would it help to talk to someone in a confidential space away from your day-to-day life? I can offer you an hour a week (or more if you require) where you are free to talk without judgement knowing you will be heard. I see my role as not giving you advice or fixing you yet being with you where you are at. Whether you require short-term or long-term therapy we use the honest, trusting and real relationship we build together to gently look at what is going on for you right now. This may include looking relationships, the way you attach to others, your childhood, career changes, a traumatic event or it may just be looking at where you are in life today. Not everyone attending counselling has to have ‘the one thing' they come about as sometimes life is enough to leave us feeling off keel.

Taking the first step towards seeing a counsellor and talking through what is going on for you can be daunting and this can create some anxiety; this is normal. I will do all I can to create an environment where you feel safe and comfortable. Feedback from clients is that I am friendly, approachable and attentive.

If you have not attended counselling before it may seem too good to be true that talking with a professional experienced counsellor will help change your outlook and empower you to be more present in your life yet counselling really does work.
