Due to our many years experience in serving the community, we have developed a wide range of services to make the funeral as personal and as stress-free as possible as we understand that losing a loved one can be traumatic and difficult. The majority of funeral arrangements are made in your own home where people feel more relaxed but if preferred, relatives and friends are guaranteed a relaxed reception here at our office.

You will have our personal attention at all times and we are able to offer a Female Funeral Arranger if preferred.

There are two main categories regarding funerals; burials (interment) or cremations. Although the main decision to be made for cremation is the location of the crematorium, there are a number of alternatives for burials:

Raymond Iles and Sons is a family business, established in 1985 and for three generations we have provided the highest standards of care for those who have opted for our services. In 2003 we joined with Allan and Derek Davies Funeral Services and since 2008 we have been associated with Alfred James and Sons. We have many years experience in serving all faiths within the local community and because we appreciate the difficulties of bereavement, we aim to provide a personal twenty-four hour service, three hundred and sixty five days a year.

Our Fleet

We offer a traditional choice of hearse and limousines from our very own modern fleet of vehicles. However, you are not limited to using the traditional transportation as we are able to offer more personalised methods, such as a horse drawn hearse in either black or white or a motor cycle hearse.

We are here to guide you through each step and to help you deal with all the formalities and legal requirements along with executing your personal wishes for the actual funeral.

Usually, the funeral arrangements are discussed in your own home where people feel most comfortable and at ease. However, if preferred, relatives and friends can attend our premises where they are guaranteed a warm, relaxed reception in pleasant, comfortable surroundings. We have every facility required to provide the highest standard of care and service, and, if required, we are able to conduct the funeral service in one of our own funeral homes.

As a family owned Company we endeavour to offer as much normality as is possible when everything feels very abnormal and stressful. At the same time we pride ourselves on our outstanding professionalism which is reflected in the Company's increasing popularity.
