Shocking
On numerous occasions, my taxi has failed to turn up at the correct time and I have missed several trains over the last couple of months because of this. I am a student and believe they are exploiting the lack of competitiveness in the market knowing there are very few other cab services in the local area and people will come crawling back no matter how bad the service. In the most recent case, Me and a friend ordered a cab for 7pm a couple of hours prior. At 7:30 we called the company to see where it was and was told it would be there in minutes. In the end we ended up sharing a cab to the train station with another student and I was never called by the cab company to say my taxi had arrived. I could have been waiting all night. I'll try my best in future to avoid using this company at all costs.

Cheap and direct
Firstly, excuse me for my english, it's not my mother tongue. So I call this company tonight, the woman at phone was very nice, ok she speaks quickly, but I am here to order a cab, not to talk 30min. She says in 15 min the cab will be there. The taxi was there before. I just pay 6£80 to near circular road, until mill road!!!!! I was so surprise, because last time I took an other company and I did high street mill road and I paid 10£. It's very cheap. A little bit dissapointed that the driver didn't talk so much and was not very friendly. But I think it's the business ^^

Rude Staff - Dismal Company
Rang for cab for 7am next morning and details taken. 7.10 next day cab still hadn't turned up. Rang and was told I hadn't booked, then told to 'hang on a minute - I have found it. Must have been forgotten !' Said this really is not good enough and was abruptly told do I want a cab or not? 'Not I said' and I suggest everyone does the same. Rude staff and a dismal company - never use Hawaii cabs if you want reliable mini cab firm:(

DO NOT USE
I phoned to book a tax for 4am the next morning as I had a train to catch. The lady confirmed it was booked at that time. Around 10 minutes later theres a knock at the door,...its the taxi driver. The lady booked in immediatley instead of the time I requested. I phoned back the taxi office to ask WTF?and was told my booking was still confirmed at 4am, I told them to just cancel it and that I was intrested in using them anymore. The lady responding with "I dont know what the problem is?" I responded that my problem is that I booked a taxi at 4am the next morning, not in 10 minutes. And that I wasnt satisfied that my taxi would actually show up at the time I requested since clearly my taxi wasnt booked in correctly. She then got abrupt and hung up the phone. So I now got another booking for another taxi firm who can hopefully tell time unlike hawaii 50

Lied to by the controllers
I booked a cab for 8 o'clock in the morning at 7 o'clock. To take me to Colchester station. The weather was pretty bad but I assumed that as it was confirmed all would be OK. At ten past 8 I called to find out where the cab was, I was advised that the weather and traffic had caused delays. The cab arrived at 8.30 (by which time I had missed my train) The driver was very apologetic and said that it wasn't the weather or the traffic but lack of drivers and the fact that the school runs are the most important jobs!!! He said they were losing customers I am not surprised!!

Nice change
this weekend i used hawaii 5 o to pick us up from ipswich and drop us off at 2:30 in the morning. this cost alot less than others and the staff were very friendly and helpful. i dont know who sheena p used but it cant have been these guys. well done and keep it up.

Do NOT use this cab company
Ridiculously rude telephonist and a no show cab after 25 minutes waiting for a cab. I called for the cab and clearly explained the address of where I was to be picked up. I was told a cab would be sent 'straight away'. After 20 mins the minicab (with the company telephone number displayed on the car) drove straight past me. I called the office 5 minutes later to ask how long the cab would be and I was told abruptly "we're not sending a cab to Bromley road" when I asked why he hung the phone up!! Completely unacceptable. I would never use their service again and discourage others from this dreadful company!
