The Ptarmigan Project

We were responsible for the renovation of the Ptarmigan observation snack bar some 3600 feet up the Cairngorm Mountain. This was not an ordinary roofing project, many of the roofing materials had to be transported by helicopter and scaffolding had to be transported by a special rough terrain vehicle.

The inordinate extremes of weather on Cairngorm will certainly underline the performance capabilities of the roofing membranes our roofers used. The high standard of workmanship and quality of the roofing construction we carried out will last well in excess of twenty years.

As you can see this was an extreme job to take on, and probably one of its kind. We believe the Ptarmigan Project highlights the exceptional roofing expertise our roofers have as well as the level of dedication we have to our work.
