Hearns Shame
The driver of a Hearns coach/ Ventura, had an accident by crashing into my car, then drove off without stopping. I tried to stop him but got a rude gesture. The incident was reported to the police as a hit and run. The company failed to report the accident and complete the form for three months, even though I visited the company manager soon after the accident. Now, after many prompts from their own insurers, the driver has had a bout of amnesia. It looks like the Hearns coaches are condoning their drivers actions and setting a precedence for hit and run and not admitting to their drivers errors. In the meanwhile , I have to accept my insurers holding me liable for the repairs. I thought that Hearns were a proud established company, where their reputation was paramount. The manager I saw a few days after the accident, was very proud of this fact and told me so. However, these were only words but, their actions were quite the opposite.
