Contemporary Norfolk Artist

About Me

In the studio I mix colour, brush paint onto canvas,
breathe in the smell of the paint,
broadly draw lines and fill spaces, create paintings.

I work in series, as it gives me the freedom to explore
different styles, I find the subject of each series will dictate the approach and
the way I use paint, colour and line.

Ragdolly Parton

Anyone who loves Charles Schulz Peanuts cartoon, will know Ragdoll cats as Lucy always had one draped about her person; they go into floppy mode when picked up. This fine Ragdoll reminded me of Dolly Parton I am not expected a country song from it though
