Poor workmanship
A Peterborough County Court judgment agreed that a wedding dress designed and made by Helen Kirkwood proved unfit for purpose on the day of the wedding. After numerous delays and complaints the dress was ready 2 days before the wedding. On the day, 15 minutes before the ceremony, the zip on the strapless dress gave way. The bride had to be sewn into her dress and subsequently cut out of it. The County Court judgement against Miss Kirkwood awarding compensation has been ignored. She has not responded to court directions at any time.
