About
We are a small independent business which sells products to help make your garden and home a more beautiful place. We believe we can do this by offering products which look good and which are good for the environment and the people who make them.
Hen and Hammock
We are an online store focused on garden products which are inspiring but also sustainable. This means things like deckchairs made in the UK from FSC certified beech, picnic blankets made in Wales from recycled wool and seed trays made in Dorset from waste wood. We do also source goods from abroad when there is a good reason to do so. For example, our brushes come from Sweden and are made by people with impaired vision and our kettle watering cans are made in Senegal from recycled plastic. In West Africa they are used for washing people's feet, but we like to use them for watering plants.
