Great for the ubiquitous balti but 'the 'Himalaya' also offers a bit more than your standard curry house. Their vegetable dopiaza is wonderful with a subtle blend of spices and their aloo chat is the best I have tasted anywhere. The restaurant also serves some slightly more unusual dishes including a Mughal inspired vegetable thali. The prawn puri and tandoori mixed grill are also worth trying. Unlike some other restaurants, their starters are freshly cooked to order so their onion bhaji and samosas are hot and crispy (rather than made in advance and served reheated from the microwave). The interior is modern and the staff friendly and efficient. Altogether a dining experience to be highly recommended.
