I contacted Jon at the Holme Valley Sports Injury Clinic, after developing severe muscle pain in my upper leg whilst playing cricket. I was initially quite despondent, as it could have meant I would not be fit for the start of the 2014 season. I was impressed by Jon’s ability to explain and re-assure me about the proposed treatments. Jon’s skilled approach and specialist knowledge inspired confidence and encouraged me to persist in following the exercises given to me. Jon developed a simple, easy to follow, set of exercises and worked hard to repair my injury over a 5 week period. Jon also agreed to review an historic knee injury, which over an 8 year period had generated a great deal of pain. By loosening up muscles of mine that were practically seized up, Jon has made a great difference to my quality of life over recent weeks. Jon has essentially succeeded where two physiotherapists (from a different practice!) and a surgeon had little success 8 years previous.
