Macs first visit
This was Mac, our 5 month old Westies first visit to his 'holiday home' and it definately wont be his last. It was only the second boarding kennels we visited in our search and we knew straight away that it was the perfect place for him for the 2 weeks we were away. The owners are extremely pleasant, friendly and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble for them with regards having his own food and treats. Its obvious they care about their 'boarders' and this is of great comfort to any dog owner. Mac must of had a great time - hes come back worn out! Thank you so very much - Mac says he will see you in January xx

Excellent kennels
Our rather large, rather playful golden retreiver has been holidaying here since he was a pup (4 years). The kennels are very welcoming and, unlike previous comments, I have the owners have always expressed their collection times very clearly to me - they clearly work extremely hard to make this a successful caring business and do get very little time to themselves in return! Though very popular, they are often able to accommodate at short notice. I'm very confident that my dog is well cared for when I'm away - he is always over joyed to see John (one of the owners) which is a clear sign of how well he is cared for when I'm not present! I did take his to another kennels once, but on return it was clear he hadn't enjoyed the same treatment. Wouldn't take him anywhere else now - just hope they never move on!

Clive 'The Greyhound'
Comes to Holmleigh for his holiday every year, it gives his owners great comfort and peace of mind that whilst they are away he is enjoying his stay, he is very comfortable, fed the foods he loves, made a fuss of and is walked every day. What more could he ask for - Thanks to you both The Martin Family

New Customer
This was first experience of Kennels. We found the whole thing made VERY easy and stress free by the pleasant, friendly and competent owners. Will certainly use again. see you both soon. P.s Buster says thanx for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Response to Mrs Evans
We at Holmleigh would like to respond to this comment made about our kennels. To say you did not know the times is difficult to understand as our opening/closing times are clearly displayed on 4 signs on all our 3 entrance gates and in reception. Our CCTV recorded this customer returning to collect their dog and 4.50 pm when we closed at 4.30 pm. The customer did not even ring to say they would be late. It is part of our boarding conditions to collect pets during opening/closing times. These boarding conditions are signed on entry into the kennels and kept on file. If boarding goes into another day of course you will be charged. We are not at all aggressive. This comment has been made by a regular customer - why would he come back if he was unhappy with us. The only person being aggressive was the customer, On that day several dogs and cats went home - they all managed to get back on time to collect their pets. Since we have been running these kennels for the last five years people say how happy they are to leave their animals here, they don't have to worry when they are away. Some have even said please don't leave. We have to have opening and closing times as we are a business. Just because we live here does not give anyone the right to come and go as they like. On most days we are open from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm which is 8 hours to drop off and collect. These remarks are totally out of order and unfair.
