Dazzling display of ineptitude

Service

Never before have I come across such an inept organisation... The tracking information for my goods - which have still not turned up - is a complete joke and utterly meaningless. For 2 days there was 'no access to property', the parcel was then 'delivered to customer' on 2 consecutive days, then loaded onto the van again only to be returned to the depot as 'no access to property' yet again. Customer Services cannot / will not discuss the matter with me and what's more I am charged a lot of money for a wasted phone call. Clearly HDNL have no desire or intention of delivering parcels and should be avoided at all cost...

Waste of time, ordered something from littlewoods. Says the parcel is at the depot now (should be delivered today), phoned 1 number they said they're waiting for confirmation. Now I find out that my parcel is actually at trentham somewhere, trying ring but no 1 answers.all I want is my parcel. Waste of time.

Lost parcel

Parcel arrived in their depot Friday. Clocked in their depot twice on Saturday - so expected delivery on Monday (as per delivery schedule). Stayed in all day Monday - no update on their web-site to our order. Still no update today (Tuesday) so assume it's not on the van! Have now phoned up and the parcel appears to be lost!

Message received to say our parcel couldn't be delivered as the driver couldn't find our house. Responded with detailed instructions directly to HDNL but they failed to read them on the system and sent the parcel back 2 days later with a "wrong address" message. Someone needs to shake these guys up!

Incompetent - do NOT use

I ordered an item online and the first I knew HDNL had my parcel was a card through the door. I phoned and explained I work during the day so organised an alternative address. Their nearest depot was Stoke, a 70 mile round trip away so picking the parcel up was not an option. They couldn't deliver it until 6 days later due to a bank holiday (not sure why). Anyway, 6 days went by and no parcel at work. When I got home there was another card through the door. I phoned and they admitted it must have been a mistake by their depot not putting the new sticker on the box but promised it would come the next day. Still no parcel at work the following day but yet again they had tried to deliver it to my home address! Another phone call and lots of apologising led to another promise of it being delivered the next day. Still no parcel the following day so I rang them up and they said it had been marked as "Urgent" and "Must be delivered today" but their system said they had failed to put it on the van that day. Even the guy on the phone couldn't believe it. **HDNL are incompetent and useless** and I will never order from anyone who use them as a courier.

Don't use Home Delivery Network

Don't ever use Home Delivery Network, they are beyond useless. I had a parcel for collection, the driver came and went to my next door neighbours house to collect the parcel, he then put a card through their letter box saying that they couldn't collect the parcel. Honestly what kind of a moron can't read numbers, he should of collected from number 31 but went to number 33. No wonder this country is in such a mess with idiots like that about. Seriously don't touch Home Delivery Network with a barge pole, they may be cheap but as the saying goes, "you pay peanuts you get monkeys!!"
