Not Impressed - Charge Back Obtained
Ordered £1000 table and chairs on 27/12/14. Very helpful, could'nt help me enough.......AND THEN...delivery date of 14 Jan soon changes to 28 Jan (They were'nt as honest as they could have been about this in the shop) Upon really pushing the salesman he admitted that was the delivery date to THEM and not ME. (Why cant people just be honest?). By 2nd Feb I got fed-up and asked for a refund under the Sale Of Goods Act "Breach Of Sales Contract". Even though it was my legal right to a refund they denied it. I informed them I work in the legal/accounting field and would a) sue them b) report them to their card provider c) request a chargeback. They still would not issue me a refund. I'm glad to say that on 6 Feb my bank agreed with me and refunded the money. Nothing worse than a business that is in the wrong and won't see sense or believe that they are in any sense of the word under UK business law. I'm sure that normally they are great people to deal with, the real measure of a business is how they deal with things when they go wrong. Well Home Maxx (AKA "Oak Planet"), that little stunt has cost you a bad review...

Watch out
One of the staff is lovely and so courteous. the other is pushy and you as the customer are to be treated with the sleazy contempt you deserve. When all's said and done the prices are good though :-) so if you can get your head around the upstart ....
