I guess you really do get what you pay for. All started off well with a quick quotation and a reasonable price. Once ordered they promised the windows would be fitted by a set date, this came and went without any contact from Horizon. After chasing a few weeks later the windows were fitted, which I must say were done to a decent standard, although no keys were left for the locks. Nevertheless, we were happy with the windows so paid in full and off they went. A few hours after fitting, a large crack appeared across one of the large windows, which I assume is a result of either a faulty pane of glass or an error when installing. We immediately notified the company who said they would come out to fix the problem. One week went by and nobody had come out. We contacted the boss at Horizon again, who said he was going away to Pakistan due to a family emergency and would be in touch when he came back. Not ideal, but I'm not heartless so decided to hang on until he returned. Maybe he could have had an employee come and fix the problem whilst he was away...? Chased him a few weeks later and was given some story about a family bereavement so we decided to leave it for a few more weeks. When chased again, the boss was now back and promised to come out that evening to measure up for new glass. The wife and I waited in but he didn't show up. Called again a week or so later, told the same thing, same end result. No show. Yesterday I decided to go down to the Horizon unit (just off Drake Street in Rochdale) to speak to the man in person. He acknowledged the calls and that he was aware of the problem with the window and promised me he would come round that evening to fix it. No show again! The windows were fitted in October 2017, It's now April 2018 and still no progress. We paid to have double glazing installed before the harsh winter, but may as well not have bothered as the broken window resulted in loss of warmth in the bedroom, which was especially bad given the fact that this has been the worst winter in a long time. I've truly had enough of this company now and would advise anyone looking for new windows and/or doors to avoid these guys at all cost. Looks like I'm going to have to get another company to replace the glass and pay for it myself

complete cowboys. went for cheap and initially did a ok job but one of the units failed and could i get them to honour the guarantee after 10 months. no chance! Kept saying they would come down and gave up after 6 weeks. Also when they did the initial install they came when it pleased them so had to constantly chase

They fitted windows which leaked after hey had fitted them, 1 window was still loose at the bottom and moved when pushed by hand, 1 window was basically wonky. Also, they are NOT FENSA registered - checked on FENSA website and no sign of them.
