We are a large independent car dealership located in Tonbridge, Kent. Our busy car dealership operates from 2 former main-dealer premises conveniently situated opposite each other. We stock a variety of vehicles for sale and there's no hiding the fact that we love Land Rovers, so you should always find plenty for sale! All of our vehicles are price-checked daily giving you the peace of mind that you're going to get a great deal. With two large fully-equipped workshops we are perfectly placed to deal with every aspect of vehicle maintenance and after sales. Our experienced and highly trained staff love their cars, know their stuff and will always be polite, professional and friendly making your visit a pleasant and memorable one. Learn from My mistake.
Bought a Discovery however it is full of major faults(somehow it passed its Horsepower MOT), when we complained that the car was faulty we were given alot of verbal abuse. If you are thinking of buying a car my advice is go elsewhere. - Quick answer is just don't bother!

Although I hadn't heard of them before or , my husband recommended I go to Horsepower to look at a Land Rover. I went there on a Saturday morning. The showroom was full of customers, because I didn't have an appointment understandably I had to make one for later that day and returned as planned in the afternoon. Although eventually I did not buy the car, I can honestly say that from the greeting, demonstration of the vehicle and farewell, the salesperson, receptionist and environment were very friendly, courteous and professional. No pushy sales tactics, time to think alone and good honest advice. Will definitely consider the next time.

top class
I live in Hastings and had my car recovered all the way to Tonbridge to have its engine replaced. All done on schedule and bang on the estimated price. Was recommended by a family member who lived nearer to Tonbridge. These guys are GENUINE EXPERTS. Plenty of knowledgeable and useful advice too. Whether it's a small or large job, nothing is too much trouble. Before you try anyone els Horsepower are the guys to call first.

Top job
We've been using them for several years. Never had any troubles and that's with a fleet of over 100 vehicles. Led by a hands on boss who knows what he's talking about and a team who are straight, honest and courteous. Highly recommend.

MOT and Additional Work
Great service as always. Had an MOT last week and as the car is now about 10 years old it needed some additional work - front brake discs. They managed to do the work on the same day and the car was ready by 3.30pm the same afternoon. Good people to do business with.

Wicked service
Had my Mark 5 GT TDI Golf serviced and MOT'd with Horsepower last week. All I can say is that they are genuine, honest, hard-working people. Price was exactly what was quoted and consent was sought prior to any further work being carried out. Definately recommend to everyone!

Excellent garage!
I've been a Motorist for over 20 years. In that time finding a local, friendly and trust-worthy garage has proven to be very, very difficult. I first visited Horsepower three years ago when, late on a Friday afternoon in late December, my car skidded on ice and unfortunately was damaged. The garage I had been using for the past five years were not interested in the repair work, saying they were basically too busy and that I would have to join the queue and wait until at least late January to have it repaired with them. Despite being incredibly busy themselves, Horsepower managed to give me a quote within 24 hours and were able to repair my car and return it to me within 7 days of the accident taking place! I have never looked back since and now use them for servicing too.
