I have been in business for 25 years + the first 20 with my father (Robert Smith) and now on my own.
I have continued in principle from where Bob and I left off, i.e. a friendly, approachable service minus the big fees.
However, quite unlike the old days nowadays the climate is rife with the possibilities of endless fines and penalties, it is now a minefield we walk and therefore compliance is a major issue to contend with.
I am privy to all the relevant updates in the ever changing world of taxation and take pride in keeping my clients informed as to the changes relevant to that person(s).
