Creative, cost effective solutions to businesses

I am Emily. I am a designer and art director. I live in Essex and have clients locally and nationally, I even have a few international clients too. Before branching out on my own, I worked for over 6 years at an award-winning direct response agency where I was involved in re-branding, design, advertising, PR and direct-response marketing for a variety of clients – from blue chip companies to local charities.
You might have heard of some of the companies I've undertaken work for in the past – HBOS, BT, Daily Mail, PC World Business, RSPB, Dulux and Lakeland to name but a few.
My other responsibilities have included organising and art directing photo shoots, selecting photographers and models, print and art buying and presenting at client meetings and pitches. When I started my own business in 2009 I began working with SME's, sole traders and local businesses and used the knowledge of working with the blue chip companies, or the ‘big boys' as I like to call them, and applied that thinking to my clients to offer impactful creative solutions that appeal to their target audience and will achieve outstanding results.
In education I have achieved a BA Hons in Visual Communication and an HND in Advertising and am fully conversant in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, but it doesn't stop there, I feel that to keep design fresh and exciting you have to immerse yourself in anything and everything design related, so if you see me taking photos on my phone of something random or reading a book about layout design you might just see that influence in my next project!
I'm not a Jack of all trades, I stick to design because that is my passion and what I am good at but I work closely with other specialists in complimentary fields such as copywriting, photography, PR, print, web development, SEO and social media so if your project requires anything I don't offer myself, I can suggest the best person for the job.
