Ignition Driver Training Nottingham
Ignition Driver Training is a small local driving school based in Wilford, near to West Bridgford in Nottingham. Founded in 2005. We will teach you the essential skills of driving and coach you along the journey to passing your driving test. Our aim is to make the whole learning experience as comfortable as possible for you. Nervous beginners are a speciality. You will be driving a new Mini Cooper S fitted with Air Conditioning for when we do get a little bit of sunshine, but it also has a good heater for when we don't! It's a very easy car to drive so is perfect for beginners.
Driving Lessons
All driving lessons are tailored to your individual needs and are strictly on a 1 to 1 basis ensuring you will be fully prepared for your driving test and have the knowledge and skills to drive safely on the road. After passing your test, we can also offer the pass plus course, or just a motorway session. If you already have a driving licence but just want to brush up on a few things, we can individually tailor some refresher lessons to suit your needs. All of your lessons can be scheduled to suit yourself so there's no better time to get your driving career started. Give me a call and we can discuss your requirements.
Instruction for all ages
Whether you are 17 or 65, we are happy to provide to you a much needed service at an attractive low cost, leaving you with enough change in your pocket to save up for that first car! Learning to drive can enhance your opportunities and strengthen your choices in life, whether they are career related or simply casual, so if you are fed up of waiting at the bus stop, here at Ignition Driver Training we can make this a thing of the past.

Highly recommended
I can't recommend Noel highly enough, I past my theory test 1st so I could just concentrate on the driving. I had 12 two hour lessons and past 1st time, he is an excellent teacher & gives great step by step instruction, can not thank him enough for giving me the freedom to drive, thank you so much Noel, absolute star.

Possibly the best driver trainer out there!
I went to Noel when I hit the age to legally start driving, he was honest and always made me feel good about my driving and told me not to worry when people were behind us when trying to make turn in the road and reverse parking.. It was a highlight of my week having my lesson with him, he made it fun and a good laugh but at the same we learnt a great deal. I ended up passing on my first time with only 2 minors. Thank you Noel! Since i passed my test I have gave his number to a few other friends of mine who have also now all passed there test first time with him.. Highly recommended driver trainer!. You'll have a great time! Thanks again Noel.

Recommended Instructor!
Never drove a car before in my life and Noel managed to get me a First time pass with only 12 double lessons! cannot fault the way he teaches. Explains everything well and properly, plus the car was a dream and was great to drive. thanks alot Noel, Highly Recommended! Casey Harper.

1st Class!
I had come to the end of my tether with driving, having learnt on and off for years due to a hectic work schedule and failed tests previously. Then a friend recommended Noel. He has all the qualities you want in a driving instructor - very professional, punctual, flexible to fit you in around existing commitments, and always patient. He really strives to make you a good driver all round, rather than just get you through your test. He has excellent interpersonal skills and makes you feel at ease. I passed first time with Noel, and would now consider him a friend - thanks Noel!

I would recommend Noel to anyone. After bad experiences with learning to drive when I was younger, I struggled to build up my confidence...until I found Noel. He is a very patient and calm teacher who is professional and dedicated to each of his students. He creates a very friendly atmosphere for you to learn in and is very supportive. He is an honest instructor who will do everything he can to help you pass your test. Noel is flexible with booking lessons and makes learning to drive fun, rather than a chore. great teacher
after having four driving test's with a previous instructor, I then decided to change...i gave Noel a call. From the first, to the last lesson, he was always on time, proffessional, kind, friendly, made me feel at ease, and gave me all the knowlege I needed to know. Great Instructor Great Bloke
Noel is a class instructor he was able to arrange lessons around my shift pattern so it made it easier for me. He got my confidence up quick and It was like driving with a mate in the car than a teacher so gave a more relaxed atmosphere. He got me ready for my test at my own pace. He dint rush me or waste my time. I Passed my test first time with Noel and have recommended a lot of friends too him.

Brill Driving Instructor and Wicked Wheels!!!
I had been learning to drive a while with different instructors, who i felt were wasting my time but then Noel @ Ignition driving training took me on 7 lessons and i passed, he just wants you to pass your test ASAP, he is very friendly and puts you at ease which was great as i was quite a nervous driver thats all changed in 7 lessons. I have recommended Noel to all my closest friends and family. If you are thinking about learning to drive you should definately choose Noel he is a great driving instructor, lovely lad and he has a cool car!!!!

Top Bloke Great Teacher
I started out with another instructor and failed two tests. I had five lessons with Noel and passed my third time. He taught my younger bro after me and passed him first time. he won't waste your time he'l put you forward for your test as soon as your ready. he's a great bloke to learn with and the cars wicked as well. highly recommended

Noel is a wicked instructor. i had lessons with another instructor before noel and felt i wasnt getting taught any thing! but with him i had very few lessons and passed first time! hes really relaxed which makes u feel relaxed aswell and hes cool a great laugh and a amazing guy. i even went back to him to do my pass plus which was wicked we went to the see side!!! :D and to add.. a amazing car too its gorgous!!!

Brilliant Instructor
I had started to learn previously with a different instructor but I spent a lot of money on lessons and didn't get very far and in the end I got bored and gave up. I started again with Noel and ended up passing within 2 months and first time. I have already recommended him to friends and family who have also passed first time.

Great Instructor
Great Instructor, he got me through to my test needing very few lessons and I ended up passing first time within weeks of my 17th birthday. Saved a lot of money with Ignition driver training and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

Absolutely Brilliant!
Before my lessons with Noel (Ignition Driver Training) I had failed my test with a different instructor which had really knocked my confidence. I had a lot of lessons with other instructors before Noel but they didn't explain things clearly and appeared frustrated when I couldn't get the hang of things which gave an even bigger knock to my confidence. Noel put me at ease and explained everything so clearly. I had never been able to parallel park before but under Noel's instruction it was so easy! I have been driving for just over a year now after passing with only 3 minor faults. My only regret is that I didn't go to him first and save myself a whole lot of time, money and stress! Thank you so much!

Highly Recommended
Noel is a fantastic instructor, I was so nervous driving and had a goal to pass my test before the upcoming Christmas. I took Noel on, and my test was passed - and thanks to him, both theory and pratical were passed first time! The car is amazing and he helps you work on your weak spots! A fun professional experience for everyone
When learning to drive with Ignition, I found that when learning to drive, it was fun, enjoyable and when Noel was explaining things to me I felt he detailed it in enough content that I would understand it, The whole experience was a great one and the fact that the first car I ever drove was a mini cooper s made the whole experience even more thrilling. The support I was given through my theory was excellent and I passed that first time, then on the actual driving test, he gave me support through that and I managed to pass that with 2 minors and from other friends I know who had lessons with Noel, I wasn't the only one to get only 2 minors thanks to his teaching skills regarding driving. Overall Noel is an excellent driving instructor and to this date I would highly recommend him to anyone who asks, he's fun, laid back, professional and has a great sense of humour for them nervous times when driving.

Reliable Instructor
Noel is a greater instructor. He helped me passed my first test within a short time. He is always flexible and patient. He has given me a lot of tips to improve my driving. I definitely recommend him.

Excellent
I would recommend Noel to any of my friends. He is extremely patient and provides excellent advice when it is needed. He lets you gain confidence at your own pace and that's the way learning to drive should be. I passed first time and I now love having the freedom to go wheverer I want. Noel is a fantastic intstructor, he has taught me to drive, but also given me the skill and confidence to do it safely. Noel's patience is unmatched and he always knows what he's talking about. I'm glad i got him as an instructor because i feel that no one else could have done it better.

Great Intructor!
I passed first time with great lessons from Noel. He's really incouraging and friendly. The lesson prices are some of the best around and the car is also a very nice one to drive and learn in. It's a shame you can't keep it once you've passed.

Passed my test first time with Noel. Feel at easy all the time, Noel is well spoken and explained everything in detail. If a made a mistake Noel told me why i made the mistake and then told me how to correct it. Very flexible with lessons and prices are reasonable. I would recommend Noel to any driver, a starter or a person who has driven before. Noel brings the best out in people and strvies to make you the best driver you can be. Cheers Noel.

Top notch
Passed my test first time with Noel in no time! After having a one off dodgy lesson with my dad it seemed far too complicated and I thought I had no chance. Finally got some lessons in with noel though and I soon got the hang of it. Just an awesome guy and the best instructor you could hope for, I would 100% recommend him to absolutely anybody - 5 stars, top guy!

I didn't think that I would ever learn to drive, let alone pass 1st time with Noel!! I will always be greatful that he got me through it by building up my confidence step by step and being very patient. I had a rubbish instructor to start with, which was getting me no where, so I got rid and then Noel was recommended to me. If you've ever had the fear of learning to drive like I did, then don't put it off, just pick up the phone and give Noel a ring because I've never looked back and I'm so happy I finally did it at the age of 34!
