Our Physio & Sports Injury Clinic is based in the Human Performance Unit at the Sports Centre at the University of Derby

Our Physio & Sports Injury Clinic is based at the Sports Centre of the University of Derby on Kedleston Road. Being situated in the Human Performance Unit allows us to use the gym and indoor running track to progress your rehabilitation. Our Pilates studio offers both classes & individual sessions. Whether it's a work related/postural problem, a sports injury or a painful joint or limb, our experienced team will take the time to focus on your individual needs to help you get back on track.

Physotherapy - We welcome members of the public, students and staff to use our facilities.

Everyone will receive individual advice and attention from our fully qualified chartered physiotherapists. Ideally situated in the Human Performance Unit, you can benefit from the gym and indoor running track to progress your rehabilitation to a new level.

Services and Treatment available at the clinic include Physiotherapy, Sports Injuries Treatment, Full Body MOT and Sports Massage

Physiotherapy Clinic Opening Times

Clinics currently available of Mondays & Friday to see Pete our lead Physio and on a Wednesday afternoon to see Tom, our Sports Therapist.

Students can also access pre-match taping and pre and post match massage with Tom on a Wednesday between 13:00 and 19:00.

Rachel Royer
Clinical Director
Rachel currently works with the Team Derby and Derbyshire Institute of Sport athletes at the UoD. She has recently completed her MSc and MACP membership.

Christine Koh
Senior Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor
Christine is a California, Singapore & UK licensed Physiotherapist, she also practices as a Pilates instructor. Christine offers physio and Pilates sessions on an individual basis / group classes.

Jo Keegan
Lead Physiotherapist
Jo Keegan has recently joined us from Loughborough Sport to take over the lead role at The University of Derby. She brings a wealth of experience working with elite athletes and teams, and combines the role of lead with Team Derby with treating weekend warriors and less active members of the public too. Jo continues to physio for the Loughborough Lightenings, our local netball super league team.

Tom Meredith
Sports Therapist
Tom recently graduated from The University of Central Lancashire. As well as supporting the Derby County Girls Regional Training Centre, he also works with the Port Vale Academy.
