I booked with the hotel a week ago, they rang us back FOUR times whilst making the booking to ''confirm flights'' (which changed twice in ten mins) he got the wrong email but luckily I brought it up before the booking was confirmed. I have since contacted the airlines, which confirmed the booking..... but then comes the contacting the hotel (who are very helpful) have checked there systems twice and there is no booking. Imperial have told me to wait 2 weeks but after reading a review saying their booking at the hotel was confirmed within 2 ays Im lead to believe they are fobbing me off. Ive asked them numurous times about this 2 week wait time, and they keep saying it has to go through holiday brokers then it will ''sit in the hotels inbox'' now theyre saying they make block bookings of 50 rooms n tey wont have a name. They sent me confirmation emails for both hotel and airport and they think this is all they need to do. the confirmation hotel email is clearly from them and not the hotel so is no use to me at this moment in time. I dont want to cancel the holiday but Im getting really frustrated with their attitude on the phone they make things up on a constant basis to cover their backs. Has anyone else had a long wait time on their hotel confirmation directly from the hotel??

This is now my 4th review and again is positive. I rang admin with a query regarding my atol receipt, and was told by a gentleman that they are all busy give me your number and I will get someone to call you back, my heart sunk and I thought here we go , this is where all my problems are going to start as many of your in the reviews. Then with in half an hr they called me it was a very helpful lady who I told that I wasnt used to booking through an agent like this as I always use high street travel agents, she took the time to explain everything to me and went through all my payments and receipts and anything else I wasnt sure of, and she was the one that pointed out that my paper work was missing my vouchers, sshe has assured me she is going to print them out and sent them this afternoon, and all the while this convo was going on the other phones were ringing and nt once did I feel I was being rushed. So far I am impressed.

Following my review yesturday when I was totally panicing ringing airlines and medhotels to make sure we were actually booked, I have since emailed the hotel direct to make sure we have a booking and they have confirmed today that yes we are all booked in and that they recieved the booking 2 days ago, which is the actual day I booked. So so far all looking good. Oh and I have also paid to be seated together and the airline has confirmed this has all been done.

Booked a holiday with these guys for September - they offered to call me back when their systems were slow to load up the holiday I wanted to save me money on my bill, had a very easy transaction with the gentleman I spoke to who was imformative and polite throughout, had the email confirmations for flights, accomodation and transfers through within 5 minutes, e-tickets and paper copies via post within 3 days and all full documentation within a week. Can't complain about a single thing so far, and looking forward to escaping to Turkey in September!

Myself and five friends were looking for a cheap holiday in somewhere like Spain or the Spanish Islands. So I looked at Teletext Holidays which advertised a price of around £140PP for the Fuertventura Beach Club in the Canary Islands. We all agreed that this would be a good location and that the price was good. We booked it slightly later than planned and the price eventually went up to £170PP. Rang them up and they were polite and said they would even get us a taxi/bus from the airport to the Hotel we were staying for free. We booked it all through one account and the same day we recieved our confirmation by email (check junk mail). The flights were with Ryanair there and back (27th June - 4th July). But I looked more into Imperial Travel Ltd. and me and my mates got a bit worried about the poor reviews. We had no problems until checking in online with Ryanair. The email that we booked with is not our email but Imperial Travels email so we rang them up and he gave us the correct email. We all checked in, then found out that Ryanair only allow a certain cabin baggage allowance (10kg, but they never checked) or otherwise had to pay for a suitcase. We all decided it was best to just book the one suitcase between us (don't tell Ryanair you're sharing it though!) We got to Fuertventura fine. Then we found our minibus, the only problem was he took us to the wrong hotel but after about half an hour looking around what looked like a ghost town we finally found it. The holiday was great the hotel was okay for the price apart from the people that were in our room before got broken into. Which was a bit worrying but the local Police came and checked to see everything was sealed and locking properly (we were warned not to keep the windows open, even at night time when you're sleeping). I'd certainly recommend Imperial Travel Ltd.

I booked a holiday i had seen on TELETEXT. The holiday price advertised is NOT the price you pay!! It increased by £100 per person. I had to pay EXTRA for luggage, EXTRA for Transfers, EXTRA for booking fees, and EXTRA for using a Debit Card. I will NEVER use this company again. They are rude on the 'phone (but so was I!! after all the extras were added) and their attitude stank. It changed when i told them that i was going to complain to ABTA!! Absolute money grabbing sharks!!

I have booked a 1 week holiday to Tunisia for myself and my husband for our 1st wedding anniversary in Sept and so far i have had no problems with this company. The paperwork arrived on time the accomodation confirmation as well was emailed when i called to say i had not recieved anything. I have found them so far to be helpful and pleasent when i have called. I have called when it was busy and been asked for my number and 3 out of the 4 times someone has called me back. Its a shame that people have had a bad experience with this company. I have so far not had any complaints.

I have not even been away but i am already worried. I have paid my deposit so cannot cancel or will loose my deposit. They answer but with no manners always say they phone you back and out the phone down hours later they do but if you miss that call then thats it. When i compakiend they took three weeks to reply trying to give the epolicy procedure. Do not book with this company !!!!

Please see my email what happened to me with this company. this is one of the emails I sent to them. Dear Imperial Limited I called this number 08707 500998 to ask if I can buy some additional luggage for my holidays that I booked. My phone call has been answered by some rude men who asked me rudely to call back tomorrow then he just put his phone down on me. I called him back and asked why did you put your phone down on my and he corrected my sentence grammar how should I ask properly as I am originally not English, so once he corrected my sentence that actually I should say "Hanged up on me" he put his phone down again. Then I called him again and he put his phone down again. Then I called again and Mr Tim picked up my phone call. Tim I apologise for blaming it on you as I thought that you are the same rude men who talked to me previously. I understand that your team might be stressed due to a big load of work, but I am very shocked how your sales people can treat the customer this way? I paid my hardly saved money for this holiday that I will be going on soon and I do deserve same respect as those people that are stuck due to the ash cloud.... I do not feel that this holiday is going to be nice now as any time I contacted your team they all been rude including Mrs Jo I feel that your company is just talking nice to the customers if there is a use out of them but if it is additional sale for lagage I can bugg of with my wish and any of you can just hang up on the customer as I already paid for main holiday so now you can treat me anyway you want. I am very disappointed in your customer services and I will tell to all my friends and all people I know and leave reviews on the internet to people to know what kind of company you are. Every time I called to this company I had unpleasant experience, your admin department couldn't get the names right for 3 times... I can not imagine how this company is runing with team like this and I am extreamly shocked by your company service. Yes I am not english but I do deserve some respect just the same as you do. How would you like if I would treat you or your family this way too? This was my first and last time when I use your company to book my holidays!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for stress you caused me and I hope my holiday will be better than this! After I sent this email none ever came back to me to apologise :(

I called this company by mistake...thank god I wasn't booking a holiday! they were rude, eve swore at me and told me my "silly" call had cost them £7 to answer. There are much better places, much cheaper, with better value. Use them instead.

I have nothing but praise for this great company. Unfortunately like a great many thousands of people had flights booked with XL Airways. All of the staff were extremely helpful and eventually we managed to get new affordable flights so we could secure our holiday to Kos. Even when I encountered problems whilst in Kos with Norida Beach Hotel which was no fault of Imperial Travel they still managed to resolve my problem. I would and have recommended this travel agent and I am sure that they give superb customer care to all of their customers. Keep up the good work guys and girls.

I use Imperial every year, we find them very good value and they are very busy all the time. Paperwork comes through in the end but at this the value for money is unreal.

Stupidly I booked with this crowd having seen their advert on teletext. Their salesman had all the patter and promised the earth, told me I was going to a 5 star resort in Egypt, said i had meals on the plane. transfers etc. I didnt want the earth, just a good holiday which I dont mind paying for. To cut a very long story short, there were no meals, a substandard 3 star hotel, tickets that never arrived, Customer services that say they will ring you back and never do. The whole experience with this bunch of conmen was a nightmare. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They are awful! (the 2 week holiday by the way cost me £2,500 for me, my wife and my 2 year old son!) Absolutely rediculously crap value. Absolute conmen!

STEER WELL AWAY FROM THIS AGENT!! I have never dealt with such an unhelpful company in my entire life! We booked a holiday to Kos, departing on the 7th July 07 with a chap called Will. The teletext website quoted £305 pp. Will quoted £355 pp for 4 adults sharing or £389 pp for two twins. We settled on the £355 pp which included hidden supplements! The following day we wanted to add an additional person on the list and again spoke to Will. He quoted £445 because he couldn't get us on the same flights and an additional cost for a single supplement. Our friend phoned to pay the £445 but the servers wern't working so he was told to ring the following day which he did. The cost had now gone up to £554 according to Imperial because the flight cost had gone up. Our friend paid the new amount without challenging unfortunately. When the invoice arrived, it contained all five of us on there, in two twin rooms (but our frien was charged aditional for being in a single??). I decided to ring Will and question this. He did not really want to talk to me and got very rude when I questioned him, eventually hanging the phone up on me. My father went into the Olympic holiday site and managed to view our booking (on Monarch Airways) but the booking there was only for the original four and did not include our friend. I again rang Will to ask for another reference number for the additional person but again, he got very rude and abusive with me. When the tickets eventually arrived, they were only for the original four. I rang Will again to find out where the other ticket was. I was told I would have to ring the Admin dept who were not there at the moment as they distribute the tickets. It was now two days before our departure and still no ticket had arraived for our friend so my father rang Jo in the admin department and pretended to be our friend. The ticket was placed in the post whilst he was on the phone talking to Jo. Also, we noticed that we had been charged an additional £94 for additional services. I rang the admin department up and they told me this had been an error and I would receive a refund with a cheque in the post. This has still not arrived after having been told on two subsequent occasions that I would be refunded since our holiday!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS AGENT - They take your money as quick as they can but their customer services skills are obsolete. They are also fradulent which my father is now following up with authorities!

We booked a holiday through teletext via Imperial Travel. At the time of the booking they were very helpful. We waited a week for our tickets to arrive still nothing. Called the person we booked with - who goes by the name of Alaistair. He couldn't have been less helpful!!!!!!! Didn't care whether or not we got our tickets. Told me to call the admin department on 08707 500 998- DON'T BOTHER - IT WILL JUST KEEP RINGING. Looked on google - someone else was having the same problems as but there is an alternative number: 0118 918 00 00 - they seem to pick this number up. Am still waiting to hear where our tickets are - we are due to fly out this Thursday 24th May. They SAID that someone will call me back. WHATEVER YOU DO - FROM THE STRESS I HAVE HAD WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL TRAVEL AGENTS - PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having booked a holiday through Imperial to Kos on 1st July we travelled to Newcastle Airport to be told on arrival that we were not on the flight, despite our written conformation. When contacting Imperial in the morning we were told that they had us booked on a flight 29th June to Egypt ??? Why we don't know. Unable to resolve the problem with them we were eventualy told we would get a refund and were left officialy on holiday with nowhere to go so then having to secure and fund an alternative holiday elsewhere. This having taken some five hours. The refund arrived on our return from the alternative holiday by cheque in an envelope without even a compliment slip. Since returning from our holiday we wrote to Imperial on three occasions all of which went unanswered. We then enlisted the services of our lawyers who have had contact from a Mr Ben Turner, who continues to throw hurdles in our path every time we manage at his request, to back up our claims for the additional expenses incurred, as guided by our lawyers. All we are succeeding in doing is increasing the lawyers charges to a ridiculous level which will negate any compensation. Also note that we did not even receive an apology from Imperial! Passengers that should have travelled were: Graeme & Susan Dunn with two daughters Jo & Sam, aged 12 and 10 Please beware what might happen if you place your holiday arrangements in the hands of Imperial Travel.
