Though I had been for a massage before at the excellent and friendly place, nothing prepared me for how good I would feel after my last massage at In Touch. In fact, good is a bit weak. I felt relaxed, happier and most of all relieved, and I slept like a baby for the first time in weeks! My massage therapist, Laura Kay, exuded such an open, friendly and receptive manner, that right from stepping in the room I felt relaxed. She was attentive and caring, allowing me ample time to go through how I was feeling and helping me choose aromatherapy oils for my needs. Having recently gone through a difficult bereavement, I was very tense and emotional, but I was made to feel very comfortable in the lovely space they have created. The massage itself had me so chilled out I felt like I was floating! I opted for the full body Swedish massage, the first time I have had a full body massage- but definitely not the last! I could not believe how much tension was relieved in odd places- like my hands and my jaw for example. Laura worked on areas that had been giving me pain, and found problems which I had been coping with for so long that I had ceased to feel them, leaving me feeling supple and relaxed like never before. I had also recently recovered from a complex surgery, and her professional work allowed me relief here that I had not thought possible. I have been back several times for a massage at In Touch Massage and Holistic Therapies, and I can't recommend it enough. It leaves me feeling that everyone should have a massage! It will make such a difference to your life,especially if you are feeling run down, or if you have recently had a major source of stress or pain in your life, a massage can be invaluable in helping you to get through a difficult time. Having tried other massage places, I can say with confidence that In Touch is definitely the place to go for an all-round excellent massage, professional staff and relaxing atmosphere.

From the lovely room with it's huge windows and high ceiling and Laura's friendly and professional manner to the full body Swedish massage and the particular attention paid to the knots in my neck, they were all met and exceeded.
