We have run over 400 music workshop days in schools and colleges. We deliver curriculum relevant music workshops in schools, tailored to suit mixed ability groups from year 8 to GCSE, BTEC and A level. Our workshop days including Song Writing, Performance, Music Technology & Music Industry Careers.

We deliver Song Writing Music Workshops for Schools

We deliver Songwriting workshops in schools using techniques that are valued and relied upon within the music industry. Our staff have their own knowledge of songwriting and we illustrate different techniques used in song writing through songs that students will recognise as old classics as well as recent chart hits. Most of our school music workshop days have an attending artist who will have featured in the official UK charts or iTunes chart.

We deliver Music Performance Workshops for schools

Our music performance workshops include around £10,000 worth of musical equipment for students to master over the course of a day, including the very latest in P.A and sound engineering. We partner with Laney, HH Electronics, Tama, Marshalls Amplification, Yamaha and more.

We deliver Music Industry Career Workshops for Schools

Our Music Industry Careers Workshops are one of our most sought after workshops. They are highly valued by both teachers and careers advisers alike. Industry Education in Music staff and the attending artist offer a vast knowledge in careers within the music industry. IEM are renowned for building close relationships with some of the industries most highly rated colleges and universities across Great Britain. We deliver Artist Performance Workshops for Schools

Artist Performance is part of our Music Workshop days for Schools. We prearrange a Performance slot at the school, for our attending artist. This could be in assembly, during lunchtime or during lesson time, a time that fits with the school timetable. The live performance by our attending artists, inspires the workshop students.
At Industry Education in Music we hand picked artists for their industry experience. Many having record deals, UK Charts, management contracts and live music experience in performance. We deliver Music Tech Workshops in schools

Our Music Tech Workshops are delivered to mixed ability students, starting from the very basics in music sequencing through to advanced fine tuning, mixing and mastering of your computer generated pieces using the latest music technology software. We work with students from year 8 through to GCSE, BTEC and A-level.
Our workshop leaders use both PC and Apple as well as music tech software Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase and Sibelius.
