Welcome to Ingrid Flute Holiday Cottages, established in 1970. As the longest established self-catering holiday agency in England, our experienced, friendly and helpful staff will be pleased to assist you in finding your ideal, value for money holiday cottage, flat or apartment. All properties are inspected by ourselves, and are checked and cleaned by their owner or caretaker between lets.

We offer a local service. All our properties are on the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast and are never further than an hours drive away from our Scarborough office. This way we can always be of assistance when the need arises. We have friendly and knowledgeable staff. All our staff have lived in the area for a long time and know it like the back of their hand. Our staff visit every one of our holiday cottages, so they know what they are talking about. We have a very competitive commission rate. There is no registration fee, so it costs you nothing to come with us. There are no limit to the number of weeks you want for yourself, family or friends. At your request we will 'owner book' the property if it is still available. We have an excellent website marketing our properties which shows colour photographs, availability of all properties, updated every day, has details of special offers and has a comprehensive search facility to make finding a suitable cottage quick and easy.

Celebration Cottage - hardly!
This cottage is a large, well situated cottage with original features, lovely décor, ample sleeping space and 2 well equipped bathrooms. However, please be warned that additional features to this cottage include full bins on arrival, a rubbish strewn yard, particularly militant neighbours and a patronising owner. I was horrified at both the mess and the smell of the yard on arrival, (seagulls or rats had been tucking into mouldy bread and used sanitary towels which greeted us on arrival). Whilst the smokers of our party retired to the yard, (we respected the owner's strict no smoking indoors policy), they were harangued by the newly arrived neighbours who mistakenly identified our party as the cause of the general carnage. Although the owner apologised for the unsightly yard, (which we cleaned ourselves on 3 of the 4 days of our holiday), he seemed more concerned with telling me off for smoking in the cottage, (which we didn't). We had booked the cottage for 40th birthday celebrations, not a frat party and I didn't take kindly to being addressed like a 16 year old. Celebration Cottage and Ingrid Flute Rental Agency – never again.
