im thinking about getting my tattoos re-dun at inkslingers and maybe gettin new 1s aswell, the staff seemed nice when i asked about them and gave me a good price.

The Best Advice I've Ever Had!
I went to Inkslingers last week with a design my friend had drew up for me. I had a long chat with Ian (the owner) about it and in the end decided against it. what i like about inkslingers is that they arent desperate to get your money. after just a few days thinking about what they said, i realised that it probably wasnt the best idea for a tattoo in the first place. I went back and got some good sketches drew up in front of me. these guys are obviously talented artists too because they actually like to draw up stuff in front of you. My new tattoo rocks and ill definitely go back there its made me look closer at other studios in the area in a different way; everywhere else i went to simply wanted my money :S my friend went there two days ago and got a portrait of his young daughter, and i have to say, its the best tattoo i have ever seen. so thank you Inkslingers; you're the best and i'll be back for more soon!

Inkslingers Custom Tattoo
I went to Inkslingers in Nun St Newcastle Upon Tyne on the recommendation of my Sons who both have extensive high quality work done by various Artists there, I had an old Tattoo on my forearm covered over with a black and grey Fu Dog extending around into intricate storm cloud background incorporating a Raijin (Thunder God). This Studio is Hygienic to the point of obsessive and the advice on Design was constructive and ultimately ended in the Tattoo being far better than i could have imagined. Neck Tattoo's (and hand Tattoo's) are Extreme and best reserved for Tattoo artists themselves and i agree with Ian (chief artist and proprietor) at Inkslingers on his choice not to do them. Inkslingers work is available to view in several places online. I've already asked for advice from Ian about my next Tattoo project and Inkslingers will be my only choice for Tattoo work from now on.

Not happy with these Inkslinger guys.
Hi, Not happy with these Inkslinger guys. (deep breath) 1 - Guy at the counter told me not to bring in a picture of what I wanted, just to describe it(!) When I came back, he had the wrong end of the stick entirely & the artist had prepared something completely inappropriate. In his defense, it was "What he was told to draw" by t'other guy. 2 - Guy at the counter had no problem with me wanting a tat on my neck, and accepted my payment for it. Apparently the artist had a problem - he refused to even consider it (despite it being in a spot that my collar would cover) & went off on a 5 minute ramble about how I might lose my job, etc (!) btw, they don't know what I do for a living. 3 - I wouldn't be half as annoyed if they hadn't been so utterly patronising. Just because they couldn't see the 8 tattoos I already have, they assumed I was a noob. Big mistake. Anyway, they gave me back my cash without any more bizarre arguments. I still can't find any of their work on their website - maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?
