For many years City & Guilds have been the only awarding body offering accredited Confined Spaces Training courses and they are still the only awarding body offering vocational training at level 2 level 3 and level 5.
City & Guilds courses must be run at registered centres normally requiring all delegates to travel and incur additional costs, however with our mobile training unit we can also offer City & Guilds Level 2 training course on site. More recently NPORS have also offered accredited training but they are not vocational and are split into training and assessment in a different format. Unfortunately the support and backup from NPORS is poor and by comparison they have limited numbers that can attend a course at any one time therefore making it much more expensive if you have 7-10 delegates.
I did offer NPORS training for a few years but in Nov 2018 I stopped teaching NPORS as they did not offer the support I expected and they would not listen when they they were clearly wrong, teaching and advocating things that were simply wrong. That is they still stipulate that harnesses only have a 5 year life expectancy, even after I showed then this had changed several years ago. All the more reputable manufactures now give a 10 year lifespan from date of manufacture and this can be tracked back to 2010 by Ridgegear just to name one company.
whichnothing like they have on their other courses and accredited courses which are run at your own premises with our mobile training unit.

With one person delivering the whole course they can build a repour with the delegates and will be awear of the strengths and weaknesses of the delegates. Because of this you will see wording like CS1,2,3,4 with slightly different content and NC1,2,3,4
