About us
A leadership and team development specialist and Executive Coach, Keith Barnwell established 'It's All About Leadership' in 2010 after a long and successful career in the Royal Navy. His work with teams and management boards includes the provision of workshops covering areas such as; collaboration, decision-making, communication, conflict, stress and the development of future strategy and vision.
Working with individually senior leaders and those aspiring to future management and leadership, he coaches them as they set and develop toward
their personal goals and seek to improve their leadership skills and their understanding of how they manage their relationships with others.
He is skilled in, and utilizes, a wide range of psychometric tools designed to help his clients understand their strengths and weaknesses, and
ultimately improve interpersonal skills through increased self-awareness, including:

• Hogan Development Survey (HDS)
• Emotional Intelligence (EI)
• British Psychological Society (BPS) Level B certified

Keith has a wealth of personal leadership experience gained at all levels within the Royal Navy until retiring as a Commander. All of his work is
undertaken within the guidance as laid down by the BPS for ethical practice and client confidentiality. In addition to corporate and individual clients,
Keith has extensive experience working with teams and senior leaders in the commercial and charity sectors as well as those in the military,
civil service and public service. He is an accredited member of a number of associations including:
• Associate Member of the Association for Coaching (UK)
• Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council UK (EMCC UK)
• Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD)
• Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (ACISA)
Keith is also the developer of the LeaderFocus App available on iTunes for the iPad; an application which helps leaders and manager to identify
their priorities and then maintain their focus throughout the day whilst also providing a wide range of leadership hints, tips and tools.

As part of the programme, he facilitated an interactive and engaging workshop that covered Decision Making, Change, Stress and Conflict.
