Ital Coachworks is a small, friendly run garage that has been repairing vehicle bodywork since 1985. We pride ourselves on the amount of experience that we have in dealing with vehicle repair and restoration, which enables us to offer a dedicated and reliable service.

We specialise in all insurance work and non-fault accident claims. We deal with many insurance companies on your behalf and we can offer our customers large discounts on work carried out, whilst still producing high quality body repairs to your vehicle.

Ital Coachworks will carry out various types of body repair from minor scratches right through to major body repairs and full resprays.

Being involved in an accident can be a stressful time and cause a large amount of inconvenience, so to help ease the process of repairing your vehicle, Ital Coachworks will directly deal with your insurance company, provide a courtesy car (if required) as well as repairing your vehicle back to it’s previous condition.

We deal with a wide range of customers from private car owners to major dealerships and showrooms. We are prepared to tackle all types of major and minor bodywork jobs, whilst keeping our costs as low as possible, so YOU pay less.

When your car comes to us we will provide - a full (free) quality check and upon completion of all repairs and a detailing service - detailing will include polishing out light scratches and touch up paintwork, repairing paint chips and light paintwork damage.

Insurance

As an independent accident repair centre, Ital Coachworks can offer our customers huge discounts when they come to us rather than their insurer’s approved repair centre.

It is your legal right to choose your own repair centre! Your insurer will likely tell you that you have to use one of their “approved repair garages” in order for them to pay out. This is not true! The choice is yours and nobody else’s.

Your insurer is also likely to tell you that if you do choose your own repairer, you will need to get two independent quotations. This is also untrue and is only said in order to try to dissuade you from choosing your own repairer. One quote is all that is needed and Ital Coachworks will handle everything for you by contacting your insurer directly.

Another fictitious statement that you will probably hear your insurance company tell you is that
a) work carried out will not be guaranteed to the same standard as one of their approved repairers and b) by choosing your own repairer you will not get a courtesy car.

If you choose Ital Coachworks to repair your vehicle, you will be provided with a courtesy car
(if required), plus all of our work is guaranteed for three years including the paints we use, which are also guaranteed by the paint manufacturers.

When your work is done and your vehicle handed back to you, we will ask you to sign a Satisfaction Note, which will be passed on to your insurer so they will pay us for the work carried out.

As a small independent repairer, we need to remain competitive in order to stand out from other independent repair centres, so along with 20 years experience in the industry, we feel we are able to offer you a good customer service and a high standard of repair to your vehicle.
