It was crucial for us to have someone we could trust who would project manage the complete kitchen refurbishment from start to finish. John Paul delivered exactly that. The attention to detail from planning to the final touches was great and on the rare occasion when things didn't go to plan it didn't matter as John Paul took care of it. Brilliant communication and customer service - no hard sell, happy to work within our budget and a great team who take pride in their work. If that's what you want then JPL are the people to go to. Steve Matthews Coventry 4 Jan 2015 Photo uploaded by Steve Matthews We had our kitchen extended by John Lewis, a local Coventry builder that I can recommend, but this review is not about them. We needed to have a kitchen company that could work with our builder to agree timescales and agree who does what. We shopped around and got several quotes, some gave us confidence and some didn't and we ended up with three quotes at the end. There were two things that made us go for JPL. One was the fact that we were quite set on what we wanted and most companies just went along with us, but Jean Paul made several useful suggestions that we incorporated into the final design, one of which meant a little more building work but I am so glad we made the changes. The other was the fact that unlike most companies, JPL only wanted a small deposit and told us that we should retain £500 until after the job was completed and we were entirely satisfied. The job started on time after Jean Paul had made a few site visits to specify to the builders exactly where the electrics and drainage should go. Jean Paul also made site visits during the fitting of the kitchen to ensure that everything was done to his standards, or to put it in his words, "the JPL way". I'm not sure he needed to make the supervision visits because his fitters were excellent, Pete and Ryan made sure we were happy at every step of the way. If there was a choice to be made, they asked for input, if we had difficulty in making a decision they made helpful suggestions. When the job was finished, they went over everything with us to ensure there were no outstanding tasks. The only thing that was not done was to fit the under cupboard plinths which had to wait until the floor was finished. When it was, Pete and Ryan came back and finished off. Once again Jean Paul visited to ensure we were fully satisfied, and only at that point did he request the final payment of £500. On Christmas Day we had 9 for Christmas dinner which was the acid test for the kitchen and it passed with flying colours. I have no hesitation at all in recommending JPL and Jean Paul's team of fitters, and I imagine that goes for all the people that have come into our kitchen and said "Wow that's amazing!".
