Think the staff may have changed since reviews above - our party found them, with one friendly exception, humourless, sullen and rude; quite the worst in my long experience of eating ethnic food. The environment is very nice, the food decent, but way short of the standard the eye watering prices should guarantee, and the whole experience spoiled what should have been a central part of a memorable day. I sincerely hope they read this and wake up to the fact that they are arrogant and unprofessional, with an overblown sense of their own importance. Why so many people choose to favour them with their trade, when there are much better, cheaper and friendlier Indians in a fairly small radius of Hemel is quite beyond me.

Great Restaurant
Good service and a nice environment. Staff are friendly too. The only negative thing is that its a bit expensive (or it was when I went there a couple of years ago).

K2 Balti House
Fantastic food from the Kashmir area of India served in a friendly and welcoming environment. Tables are well spaced allowing cosy and intimate dining or discreet business discussions. A large downstairs room caters for parties if required. The conservatory area of the restaurant offers wonderful views over a beautifully tendered and illuminated garden.
