JC's as an organisation has been developed from an idea that was first discussed with the young people who attended Greenhill Methodist Young Person's Fellowship in 1999. We organised a fashion show which we named 'HS Fashion' in memory of Helen Savoury. This was arranged by appealing to our congregation to provide clothes, that we needed to be able to produce a show. Eleven years on we are refurbishing our retail outlet. We are run entirely by volunteers and rely on donated goods, which enables our organisation to continue to support young people as they volunteer and at the same time raise awareness of PACT Charity which provides a house for families close to Sheffield Children's Hospital as well as two holiday caravans. Jessica Munn joined JC's in 2009 in just over a year, as she leaves to start her apprenticeship at the NHS she left us with a new image and a fresh enthusiasm to take JC's Community Spirit to our neighbourhood with Faith, Hope and Love ................ and the greatest of these is LOVE (C1.13v13) We have chosen to profile on behalf of local young man Joe Carter his inaugural event called Chase4Life - Joe Carter, which will be male only and has been a dream of Joe's for a while since he was diagnosed with cancer, which he now has for the third time.
