Graduate of Trinity College of Music, London with 40 years of experience in teaching piano, recorder, flute, I currently teach piano, recorder and flute from my home instructing pupils for the purpose of exams or for their own enjoyment and advancement. Beginners welcome of all ages. I have a high success rate for exams and recently one of my pupils gained an award from the Associate Board of Music for flute for the highest mark in the region. I am CRBd, and offer reasonable rates. Fees 30 Minutes Tuition Next 10 lessons: £99 in advance. (Payable in cash at the first of these 10 lessons.) Discounts available for additional family members – please enquire. Lessons are term-time only. Please give at least 24 hours notification should you be unable to attend a lesson for any reason. If 24 hours notice is given, the missed lesson is tagged on to the end of the course (within reason). Music is to be purchased by the student in addition. Information on the appropriate music will be given to you by Jean. Practice makes perfect! It is in your own interest to spend time practising – 20 minutes a day is an achievable goal to begin with.
