Joomla Club provides training and support to social or commercial entrepreneurs so that they can build and develop their own professional websites. It costs £72/year and it includes 75 workshops a year in Birkbeck College that support participants at all levels of familiarity with information technology, to start and to develop their websites, a domain name and site hosting, a full customer relationship management (CRM) system, 50 professional templates and lots of learning resources.

Come to a weekly free open introduction session at the College and learn in 100 minutes about the minimum professional standard of service provision for site hosting, about the templates and extensions directories, how to create menus and menu items, to order and locate modules, how to create content and the importance of its the importance of content categorisation, about some of the great media tools that are available for free, and the value of formatting content and including metadata to search engine optimisation (SEO).
